These days many people opt for fabric re-upholstery (Although we can also upholster in leather). We do not stock fabrics or leather due to the huge variety available. Instead we let clients choose their own, although we can assist in the purchase of your desired fabric/leather.

When re-upholstering your furniture we try to keep the same style and comfort of your piece. We will replace any damaged stuffing or padding and the stuffing or padding which does not need replacing will be re-shaped and re-used so it is as good as new. So the comfort and also a sentimental value of your furniture will not be affected. You will have a piece which you have already own and we will make it look like new with your input on the choice of fabric and finishing touches.

Deep buttoning is a process which requires patience and skill and it is very time consuming. The buttons are usually made from the same fabric or leather as used on the chair or other seating. If deep buttoning is requested once the buttons are made they are compressed at regular intervals through a deep filled upholstery pad and then pulled through and tied securely. Deep buttoning usually makes diamond configuration.

Springs add depth and comfort to the seat and could be used in the back as well. We use mostly double cone springs which allow to distribute and absorb weight evenly.

Finishes/trimmings: You can choose from different types of finished of your upholstered furniture, to add that little special touch. You can choose from: Braid which is the most used option. There are numerous styles and colours which we can help you to choose or you could supply your own. Cord is another option. It comes in different sizes and colours and could be supplied again either by us or customer. Double piping ads a glamorous touch to your furniture. It is usually made from the same fabric or if preferred customer can choose another contrasting fabric. Nails and Nail strips are another option. Again there is choice of different styles and finishes and we would gladly help you to choose the style most suitable for your furniture.
